Parking lot maintenance scheduled Thursday in Johnson City

Scheduled maintenance at multiple downtown Johnson City parking lots will begin on Thursday. Johnson City Public Works says the work will last three to four hours as crews fill in cracks throughout each parking lot. Some lots will be closed the night prior in preparation. Lots impacted will be Cherry Street, Pavillion, West Main, Boone Street, Founders Park and South Commerce. Work will be done in phases, beginning with Cherry Street, Pavilion, and West Main Street lots to avoid complete closures.
