Planned protest planned Wednesday after Washington County TN school board member’s “you’re hot” comment

A protest has been planned for Wednesday, demanding the resignation of a Washington County, Tennessee School Board member. The peaceful protest is to demand the resignation of School Board Member Keith Ervin after a video from Thursday night’s School Board meeting shows Ervin touch a student board member on the arm and call her hot and then ask what school she goes to. The protest is set to take place Wednesday at 4 p.m. outside of the school board office during the board’s workshop meeting. An online petition for the removal of Ervin and Superintendent Jerry Boyd has reached over 2,000 signatures.
