Police: Pedestrian struck and killed at Sevierville’s busy Exit 407
A pedestrian has been killed at one of the busiest exits in Tennessee.
Seviervile Police said 911 received a call concerning a body laying in the highway off Interstate 40 and Exit 407 near Kodak– a route used frequently by visitors.
When they arrived at the Highway 66 spot just before 7 am Monday, they found the male victim’s injured body and he was declared dead at the scene.
No word yet on if the incident was a hit and run but police are looking for witnesses in that area to help with the case. The name of the victim was not released pending family notification.
