Public meeting set for Wednesday night for Bristol Landfill update

A public meeting is set for Wednesday night to discuss the findings of a health assessment at the Bristol Virginia Landfill. The report released nearly a month ago, outlined potential health impacts from the landfill. The report used data from 2021 and 2022 noting improvements have been made since then. At the meeting, federal officials who prepared the report will talk about their key findings. Citizens will also be able to ask questions to the experts who wrote the report. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Virginia High School auditorium.
