Sizeable meth supply taken off streets by Bristol Virginia police & Holston River Task Force
Two men are in jail after Bristol Virginia Chief of Police Byron Ashbrook said a sizable six ounce amount of fentanyl was collected during a traffic stop.
The chief said keeping that amount of fentanyl off the street would likely save thousands of lives.
Brandon Booher, 28, and Jeffery Reynolds, 23, both from Bristol, face related drug charges while Reynolds has additional charges of giving false ID to police and fugitive from justice out of Tennessee. Officers also recovered an ounce of meth, two guns and more than $100 in cash.
The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation between Bristol Virginia police and the Holston River Task Force, according to the statement.
