Spaghet-about it: New owner to take over Model City eatery after closing in June

Following announcements of retirement and closing, the ovens at Giuseppe’s will not go cold.

The Italian eatery’s social media page posted the news of four new owners taking over operations of the East Stone Drive location that has been open since 1987.

“…We also want to thank (the former owners) for the trust they have placed in us and for everything they have done to make Giuseppe’s such a beloved part of our community. To everyone who has called, texted, messaged, and reached out with encouragement—thank you. The support has been overwhelming in the best possible way, and we appreciate every single one of you, ” the statement read.

Giuseppe’s served its final customer last month after announcing a second retirement back in May. The owners had hung up their aprons years ago but went back to the kitchen based on popular demand.

The new owners also mentioned on their Facebook page they will post more updates in the coming weeks including an opening date.
