Spring paving operations now underway near the Tri-Cities Airport

Select Kingsport city roadways close to the Tri-Cities Airport will be apart of a paving project that is expected to last through the end of July.

The City of Kingsport says contractor Pave-Well Paving Company has started the project as of Monday, and will be closing lanes as well as flagging operations in the select areas that paving will be occurring. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through areas that are being paved.

The city expects the project to finish up by July 31.
