Sullivan County Regional Health Dept. gets new director

The Sullivan County Regional Health Department has a new director. Hannah Taylor, who was previously director of operations for the department, has been appointed to the role by Tennessee Health Commissioner Ralph Alvarado and Sullivan County Mayor Richard Venable. Taylor will replace longtime director Gary Mayes, who retired on June 30. Taylor is a registered nurse and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University. She also received a master’s degree in business administration from King University.
