Ten life sentences for a Russell County child sex convict

A Russell County man was sentenced to 10 life sentences and an additional 15 years following his conviction in October on several child sex charges.

David Walter Moore III of Lebanon, 54, was accused of 12 felonies including aggravated sexual battery.

Moore’s sentence is almost similar to the punishment handed down to a Tennessee sexual predator convicted on nearly 30 charges. Kenterrius McGuffie also received 10 life sentences in court this week—that is considered one of the longest jail sentences in Tennessee history.
