THP: Charges pending following early morning crash in Hawkins County involving Rogersville teen

A Rogersville teen was taken to the hospital after an early morning crash in Hawkins County on Thursday.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report says an unnamed 17-year old was driving in a 1993 Cadillac Deville along East Main St. just before 4 a.m. Troopers say the vehicle went off the right side of the road, over-corrected and then went off the left side of the road. The Cadillac rolled and struck several trees before coming to rest on the passenger side. The teen was injured and did not wear their seatbelt according to THP.

Charges are pending in the wreck.
