THP: Cherokee High School student dies in Tuesday wreck in Rogersville
A Cherokee High School student was killed during an accident Tuesday in Rogersville.
Tennessee Highway Patrol reports Cheyenne Sellers, 18, was traveling west on Caney Creek Road just before 3 p.m., when her Mazda M6S left the right side of the road, overcorrected, and ran off the road, striking a utility pole.
No other vehicles were involved the wreck.
Cherokee High School’s Band Facebook page posted that Sellers was a trumpet player over the last four year in the program.
