Travel nurse facing charges including prescription drug fraud

A travel nurse has been indicted after diverting pain medication for a patient, to himself. Ballad Health provided the tip that led to the investigation. The TBI said that Everett Collier Ragan worked as a travel nurse at Bristol Regional Medical Center. In March, a grand jury returned indictments charging Ragan with two counts of neglect of a vulnerable adult and three counts of prescription drug fraud. Ragan has been taken into custody in Davidson County.
