Tusculum University announces new endowed scholarship
Tusculum University announced a new endowed scholarship on Monday that will benefit first-generation students, those whose parents do not have a bachelor’s degree, with family ties to the military. The scholarship fund was created in honor of Tusculum alumna Col. Jo Anne Kilday, who graduated in 1959 as a first-generation student and subsequently served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps. The “Col. Jo Anne Kilday ’59 First-Generation Endowed Scholarship Fund” will support the Tusculum education of first-generation students who are military veterans or the children or grandchildren of one from any branch. More information about the new scholarship is available on the Tusculum University website.
