Tusculum University/Greeneville Flyboys field gets new sponsor deal
The baseball field at Tusculum University will now be called the “Eastman Credit Union Field at Pioneer Park” after the Greeneville Flyboys and Eastman Credit Union agreed to a five-year naming rights partnership. A Flyboys press release Monday said that the Tusculum Pioneers’ and Flyboys’ home field will take its new name beginning with the 2026 Appalachian League season. The ballpark itself will remain Pioneer Park. Pioneer Park was constructed in 2004 for Tusculum baseball and a former Minor League Baseball team, the Greeneville Astros. Boyd Sports took over the operation of Greeneville baseball in 2018 which has continued with the creation of the current Greeneville Flyboys team in 2021.
