Two off road trails closed until further notice in Unicoi County

Two off-road trails are closed until further notice due to recent rainfall. Two off-road vehicles were stranded in Dicks Creek after becoming stuck on Saturday. According to the Unicoi County Emergency Management Agency, the following trails are closed until further notice. Dicks Creek Trail, off Highway 107 and Dark Hollow Trail off Rock Creek Long Branch. The agency said two off-road vehicles became stranded in the Dicks Creek area, resulting in the rescue of 5 individuals. The agency reported that a Jeep carrying three adults and an infant became stranded in Dicks Creek on Friday, the occupants were safely rescued as well.
