UPDATE: Kingsport woman injured in crash dies from injuries

A woman critically injured in a crash in Kingsport has died from her injuries.

Shirley M. Kilgore, 84, was hospitalized one week ago following the wreck in the 2900 block of North John B Dennis Highway near Bloomingdale.

The preliminary report from police said Kilgore turned her car into the path of another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old juvenile who received minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
