UPDATE: Man found dead behind home Sunday in Bluff City identified
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man found dead behind a home in Bluff City on Sunday afternoon.
Sheriff Jeff Cassidy says deputies received a call about the deceased individual, now identified as Larry Dillard, 69, just before 3:30 p.m Sunday at a home in the Hickory Tree community. Police say Dillard was found partially under the rear porch of the residence.
His body is being sent for an autopsy and the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.
