Vehicle pursuit on Highway 107 leads to multiple charges

A west Washington County pursuit on Highway 107 has resulted in multiple charges.

The Sheriff’s Office report said deputies were chasing 44-year-old James Robert McInturff after a license plate was discovered on his vehicle that was registered to one of his other cars. McInturff approached dangerous speeds and nearly hit two other vehicles while being pursued.

McInturff was arrested two days later and is charged with reckless endangerment, eluding, driving on a revoked license, altering plates and failure to maintain control.
