Virginia senators request more financial help for restaurants impacted by pandemic
Virginia senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine are asking for additional dollars to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.
Money allocated by the American Rescue Plan Act last year in the early stages of the pandemic helped to keep thousands of restaurant workers employed.
Owners of eateries across the commonwealth are requesting more than $300 million to help with the loss of income and help generate more wages for employees.
