Washington County VA Public Schools launch Internet Safety and Prevention Task Force

Washington County, Virginia Public Schools announced on Monday it has launched a new Internet Safety and Prevention Task Force. The task force will be focused on education, awarness and prevention of internet crimes impacting children and families. Parents, teachers, school administrators, counselors, law enforcement and others make up the task force. The goal of the task force is to increasing awareness of current and emerging online threats, sharing prevention strategies and educational resources, and supporting proactive measures to keep students safe online.
