Wife of Union football coach says husband did not commit crimes

The Virginia State Police filed 10 charges against Union High School head football coach Travis Turner including possession of child porn and using a computer to solicit a minor—charges that Turner’s wife Leslie denies in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying Travis is a good husband and dad and the family wants him home safe.

Leslie Turner also told the publication that authorities and her advisors told her not to comment about her husband allegedly being seen with a rifle at the time of his disappearance.

State Police said more charges are pending against Turner.
