Wise County Sheriff’s Office investigating after discovery of body in Guest River

The Wise County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman’s body was found in the Guest River Monday. Recovery operations and a comprehensive investigation have gotten underway. The woman’s name has not been released. The sheriff’s office said all appropriate investigative measures are being taken to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
