Milligan’s Lacy Fieldhouse evacuated, occupants sent to hospital for carbon monoxide exposure

More than 60 Milligan University staff and student members were taken to several Ballad Health hospitals on Wednesday after being evacuated from the school’s Lacy Fieldhouse facility due to carbon monoxide exposure.

A statement from the healthcare provider said the patients were given oxygen as a precaution while assessing their monoxide levels.

Milligan officials and a service provider were able to pinpoint and stop the leak.
