JCPD investigating alleged Tuesday afternoon stabbing incident

The Johnson City Police Department is investigating an alleged stabbing that occurred Tuesday. A spokesperson with the city said officers responded around 4:30 p.m. to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of West Pine Street. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. A responding officer said the stabbing occurred on the sidewalk of West Pine Street. The investigation is ongoing.
