ETSU unveils new fitness court near William B. Greene Jr. Stadium
East Tennessee State University’s Department of Campus Recreation unveiled a new fitness court Monday that will provide community members with an accessible exercise space. The new outdoor fitness court is part of a nationwide initiative led by the National Fitness Campaign which works to expand outdoor fitness opportunities across the country. Officials say the court was built in a convenient spot for those who use ETSU’s walking trails around William B. Greene Jr. Stadium. The court features seven exercise stations and uses body weight as resistance, allowing users to complete a full-body workout in about seven minutes.
