Man faces 10 charges after rash of Bristol breaking and entering cases

It appears anything that wasn’t nailed down was fair game for a man arrested and charged in a string of Bristol, Virginia larceny cases.

A city report said Corey Wimmer, 33, was found hiding in a garage after police were called about one of the incidents.

A day later, another breaking and entering case was reported, with the property owner stating his items were at a home located just a block away. Officers recovered a pickup truck, weed eaters, a metal detector, power tools, electric bikes, and jewelry, among other items.

Wimmer faces 10 charges including grand larceny and he has outstanding warrants with other agencies.
