Bristol TN council approves residential rezoning on King College Road

Plans for a new housing development in Bristol, Tennessee, moved forward Tuesday. City Council unanimously approved rezoning more than 150 acres off King College Road. It focuses on the 1800 block, and could bring hundreds of different new homes. The mayor says the plan is progressing, but it could still be several years before work gets underway. Maybe as many as five. The proposal would bring a mix of single-family homes and duplexes to the neighborhood.
