King University achieves financial balance to shed warning label
King University had their warning status dropped by the leading college clearinghouse that awards accreditation.
King was given the label beginning in 2024 due to reported financial problems that were partially caused by the COVID pandemic and its impact on operations and income.
A statement from King University said balanced budgets, a 20 percent increase in student enrollment and continuing financial support from alumni placed the Bristol school back on course with the sanctioning body.
