KPD investigating Wednesday night shooting: suspects considered “armed and dangerous”
The Kingsport Police Department is investigating a shooting involving juveniles on Wednesday night on Robertson Street and now considers two suspects, one juvenile and one adult, armed and dangerous. The victim is also believed to be a juvenile. Police obtained arrest warrants for the unnamed juvenile suspect, who is charged with attempted first-degree murder and for 25 year old Haley Locke who is charged with accessory after the fact. Both Locke and the juvenile were last seen in a white, 2010 Ford Fusion that had Tennessee license plate 975 BQGD attached to the rear bumper. The vehicle also has a black hood. Police say both individuals should now be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspects’ whereabouts is asked to call the KPD’s Criminal Investigative Division. Police say the shooting was an isolated incident.
