TN Vols to start NCAA tourney as No. 6 seed

The Tennessee Vols are starting their journey to the Final Four in Philadelphia. Tennessee earned the 6-seed in the NCAA tournament. The Vols finished the regular season 22-11 with a 7-6 record in the SEC. They were eliminated by Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals. This marks Tennessee’s 28th NCAA tournament appearance and eighth consecutive appearance. The Vols are coming off back-to-back trips to the Elite Eight. The Vols first round opponent will be the winner of Wednesdays Miami (OH) and SMU game. The Vols face the winner Friday.
