Two-time Oscar winner Brad Pitt named Grand Marshal of Bass Pro Shops Night Race at BMS

Superstars of stage, screen, and television visiting the World’s Fastest Half-Mile is nothing new, but a visit from an Academy Award-winning actor like Brad Pitt goes to another level.

The two-time Oscar winner has been named Grand Marshal of next weekend’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Two connections brought Pitt to BMS—one is his relationship with Bass Pro Shops owner Johnny Morris with both natives of Springfield, Missouri; the other is Pitt’s new feature film “Heart of the Beast,” that opens in two weeks theaters nationwide.
